Welcome to the Web Site of The Ridgefield Football & Cheer League...Home of Champions.  RFCL Participates in The Candlewood Valley League (CVL) Where Ridgefield is a Founding Member. CVL has Been Our Local League for Over 48 Years...Since 1964.

RFCL & CVL Have a History and Tradition of Success at the Local, State, Regional and National Levels. RFCL & CVL are Recognized Throughout the Country as Having Some of the Best Teams Youth Football and Cheer has to Offer.

CVL is Comprised of Organizations From Towns in Connecticut and Bordering Southeast NY State. CVL Member Towns Compete in Their Respective States Premier High School Football Conferences:
FCIAC - Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference
  SWC - South West Conference
   CCC - Central Connecticut Conference
   NVL - Naugatuck Valley League
   SCC - Southern Connecticut Conference
NYSPHSAA - New York State Public High School Athletic Association Section 1

CVL is a Member of United Youth Football & United Youth Cheer, Dance & Step
